Community Work

When people ask me, who is your community? My answer is, “the Earth is my community.” I visualize us coming into unity to a realization of abundance that comes from the openess to collaboration in harmony with the Earth.

I have devoted many years to working with people in Mexico, both on the coast and mainland Mexico, but also in Brazil, Peru, and most recently in Ecuador (2011 – today), where I founded the first Kokopelmana Seed Sanctuaries a well as women cooperatives.

I envision that my work will inspire many, and that seed sanctuaries, community and school gardens become an intrinsic part of the environmental security that leads to true social and economic security, perhaps this will be our legacy, to the future generations.
